Weather hazards expected... Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated: Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...In excess of 60 mph. Level 1 of 5 Damaging Hail Risk...Up to 1 inch in diameter. Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk. Level 1 of 5 Flash Flooding Risk. DISCUSSION... Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across northern Illinois. They may quickly become severe with a threat for damaging winds and even a tornado. In addition, localized flash flooding cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
