...A FRONT MOVING DOWN THE LAKE...

The areas affected include...

  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor out to Mid
Lake...

At 533 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a front with a sharp north
wind shift capable of producing a brief burst of winds to around 30
knots or even briefly higher. This front was located along a line
extending from near Kenosha to near Winthrop Harbor to 14 nm east of
Waukegan Harbor, moving south at 45 knots. This will be near
Winthrop Harbor by 545 PM and Winnetka by 630 PM.

Locations impacted include...
Winthrop Harbor and Waukegan Harbor.
