At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm outflow winds along a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Winthrop Harbor to 8 miles northeast of Rogers Park to Merrionette Park to near Lakewood Shores. Movement was east at 35 mph. This strong surge of outflow winds will produce gusts up to 50 mph. These strong winds may be accompanied by little or no rain. Do not wait for lightning, thunder, or rain to seek shelter. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near...
