...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LA SALLE...EASTERN
OGLE...EASTERN LEE...WESTERN DE KALB...SOUTHEASTERN WINNEBAGO AND
SOUTHWESTERN BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 350 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm
outflow winds along a line extending from near Davis Junction to
near Malta to near Paw Paw. Very strong winds with these storms will
likely arrive well before the rain. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to around 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Rockford, Shabbona, Cherry Valley, Kirkland, Malta, and Paw Paw
  around 355 PM CDT.
  DeKalb and Belvidere around 400 PM CDT.
  Kingston around 405 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include New Milford, Prairie
Center, Monroe Center, Compton, Lindenwood, Creston, Triumph,
Fairdale, Troy Grove, and Lee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Illinois.
