Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak troughing at 29.7 inches will remain in place
through mid-morning over Lake Superior before ridging near 30.0
inches shifts over the area later today as high pressure moves
into the Canadian Prairies. The ridge builds to 30.1 inches over
Lake Superior Monday morning as the high moves overhead and
gradually weakens to 30.0 inches Tuesday afternoon. A 29.5 inch
low pressure system north of International Falls Minnesota Tuesday
evening moves to near James Bay by Wednesday evening, dragging a
29.6 inch trough over Lake Superior Thursday into Friday.
