Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...As 30.3 inch high pressure over Maine anchors
offshore of the New England Coast today through Wednesday, it will
extend 30.1 inch ridging back into the Great Lakes region.
Meanwhile, a 29.9 inch low pressure trough across south central
Canada and the Dakotas today will drift into northern Ontario on
Monday before dissipating. A 29.4 inch trough will then emerge over
the western Great Plains on Tuesday. Low pressure of 29.3 inches
will develop along this trough and then lift into Saskatchewan on
Wednesday. On Thursday, the low will drift into northern Manitoba
while 30.1 inch ridging extends from Quebec into the Great Lakes
region.
