PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Clarksville.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 25.3 feet, The road to Port Marmac, a riverside
  community of about 15 homes just south of Clarksville, begins
  flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage on May 26
    and crested near 27.8 feet on June 3.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to hold steady or slowly
    fall over the coming days. It is expected to fall below flood
    stage on Saturday.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Louisiana.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
  beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage on May 26
    and crested near 17.6 feet on June 3. It fell back below
    flood stage on June 17.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise back to a crest
    right at the 15.0 feet flood stage Wednesday evening. It will
    then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
