...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southern portions of Parmer County in the Panhandle of
  Texas.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 950 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that light rain
    continues, but additional thunderstorms may move into the
    area shortly bringing another round of moderate to heavy
    rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
    in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Farwell, Oklahoma Lane and Lariat.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
