Double Mountain Fork Brazos at Justiceburg affecting Garza County. .Very heavy rainfall fell overnight in the western potion of Garza County, about 8 to 15 miles west of Justiceburg, where the West Texas Mesonet southwest of Post recorded 5 to 7 inches of rainfall. This has already lead to a rise in river stage this morning and the river is expected to continue rising through the afternoon. For the Double Mountain Fork Brazos...including Justiceburg, Aspermont 10S, Lubbock 4ESE...elevated river levels are forecast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
