This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Heat Advisory will be in effect from Noon until 7 PM across the
Little Rock metro extending westward along the I-40 corridor into
the Arkansas River Valley as heat index values are expected to be
between 105 and 109 degrees.

It will be a must to practice heat safety, especially in locations
within the Heat Advisory as it has been quite some time since we
have dealt with this intense of heat. Likewise, air temperatures
will be 10+ degrees above normal across most of the state.

Stay hydrated, wear light colored clothing, and limit you time
outdoors exposed to the direct heat by utilizing rest cycles.

A few isolated showers and thunderstorm will be possible Friday
evening into Friday night across northern Arkansas. The main
hazard with any activity that does develop will be lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A few isolated showers and thunderstorm will be possible
Saturday across the northern half of Arkansas and into west-
central Arkansas. The main hazard with any activity that does
develop will be lightning.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
