Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
251 AM CDT Fri Jun 14 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Min RHs reach critical levels each afternoon over the next few
days mainly west of the Pecos River. Recoveries remain poor to the
west with fair to good recoveries to the east. Light winds will
limit overall fire growth potential. Isolated storms remain
possible over the Davis Mountains and could lead to lightning
starts as fuels are somewhat drier over the mountains and across
adjacent plains. Better moisture arrives late next week.
