Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
152 AM CDT Fri Jun 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Tropical moisture will continue to stream across the region today
with RHs remaining high. Drier and hotter conditions will be the
trend this weekend into early next week. Fire weather concerns
will remain low given the recent rains and winds generally less
than 15 mph. Isolated storms are possible almost each day across
the higher terrain which could bring gusty, erratic winds and of
course lightning.
