...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN PECOS...EAST CENTRAL
BREWSTER AND SOUTHWESTERN TERRELL COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles east of Persimmon Gap, or 35 miles southwest of Sanderson,
moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Pecos,
east central Brewster and southwestern Terrell Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
