...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN POINSETT...WESTERN
MISSISSIPPI...TIPTON...SOUTHERN LAUDERDALE AND WEST CENTRAL HAYWOOD
COUNTIES THROUGH NOON CDT...

At 1117 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dyess to Brighton. Movement was northeast
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Osceola, Manila, Caraway, Luxora, Wilson, Keiser, Fort
Pillow State Park, Munford, Brighton, Dyess, Dell, Burdette, Marie,
Fulton, Ashport, Ft Pillow, Little River, Atoka, and Henning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
