This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms will develop over interior
and southwest portions of the region. The primary threats are
frequent lightning strikes and gusty winds.

Excessive Heat: Heat indices could approach or slightly exceed
triple digits over portions of South Florida, mainly in southwest
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day, with the
greatest coverage expected each afternoon over the interior. There is
potential for a few strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday over
northeastern areas of South Florida, with damaging winds and large
hail possible.

Temperatures will increase through the end of the week and into the
weekend, with some locations approaching advisory criteria at times.
