Thunderstorms: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are continuing this evening across South Florida, with the highest chances around Lake Okeechobee and Palm Beach County. These storms will begin to taper down early into the evening. Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk for rip currents along the Palm Beaches. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible daily, with primary threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Peak heat index values will remain elevated on Sunday, and may reach advisory criteria in places. The risk for rip currents will likely be elevated for the Atlantic beaches Sunday into early next week as northerly swell moves into the area. Minor coastal flooding will also be possible during high tide cycles Sunday into early next week due to the enhanced northerly swell and king tides. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
