...High Risk of Rip Currents Atlantic Coast Beaches...
...Scattered to Numerous Thunderstorms Especially Interior...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the
Atlantic coast beaches.

Heat: Peak heat indices will range between 102 and 107 across most
areas this afternoon. A few localized sections of interior
Southwest Florida may have peak heat indices approach 110 for a
brief period of time this afternoon.

Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop
especially during the afternoon and across the interior sections.
Some storms may become strong and could contain gusty winds and heavy
downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Heat indices over 100 degrees will be possible each day through next
week.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day. The strongest
storms could produce gusty winds and heavy downpours.

Weather spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail, and
flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
