Critical fire weather conditions develop once again for portions of Lake and Modoc counties for strong, gusty winds and slightly higher, but still critically low humidity this afternoon and evening. After that, conditions should return to normal with cooler conditions, better humidity recoveries and less wind on Thursday and Friday. Breezy afternoons return this weekend.
