Dry, sunny conditions are expected today with only slightly
cooler temperatures and fairly typical afternoon and evening
breezes. Recoveries will be good tonight in the valleys, but
moderate to poor at ridge level. High pressure with warming and
drying will return Monday into Tuesday, but another dry front is
likely by midweek with strong, gusty winds followed by cooling on
Thursday.

Dry, sunny conditions are expected today. Gusty west to southwest
winds and low humidity this afternoon and evening will result in
critical fire weather conditions. Gusts of up to 35 mph will be
possible across much of the Modoc Plateau. High pressure returns
Monday into Tuesday with warming and dry afternoons, then another
dry front is likely by midweek with strong, gusty winds followed
by cooling on Thursday.
