...Gusty southwesterly winds and low afternoon humidity today
across Siskiyou County may result in a few hours of elevated to
critical fire weather conditions around Scott Valley...

A combination of gusty winds and low RH will produce near-critical
fire weather conditions for at least a few hours this afternoon,
mainly for areas near the Scott Valley. Humidity values will be a
little higher on Wednesday, but winds will still be gusty.
Conditions will return towards normal with cooler weather and
better recoveries Thursday into Friday before additional Gusty
winds and relatively low humidities are expected once again over
the weekend.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM PDT
THIS EVENING FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND AND LOW RH...

...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON WEDNESDAY THROUGH 8 PM
PDT WEDNESDAY FOR STRONG, GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RH...

...A few isolated thunderstorms possible overnight tonight across
most of Modoc County...

A combination of gusty winds and low RH will produce critical
fire weather conditions for at least a few hours this afternoon,
primarily across northern Modoc County. While a low probability,
generally 15% or less, there is a slight chance of lightning
tonight into the early hours of Wednesday morning over far south
and east sections as moisture/instability move northward. On
Wednesday, we will see critical conditions once again for portions
of Modoc Counties for even stronger winds and slightly higher,
but still critically low humidity. After that, conditions should
return to normal with cooler conditions, better humidity
recoveries and less wind on Thursday and Friday.
