* At 144 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 nm east of Pamlico Sound to near The Mouth Of The
  Neuse River, moving east at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
