.Discussion...
Light west to southwest flow will promote the inland extent of
the west coast sea breeze, while keeping the east coast sea breeze
confined to the I-95 corridor. Scattered showers and lightning storms
are forecast along and ahead of each sea breeze, increasing in coverage
this afternoon as boundaries collide. The summertime pattern continues
into late week favoring high coverage of showers and storms each
afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90s, and
conditions are expected to remain humid. A Moderate to Major heat risk
continues into late week with heat index values between 102-107 degrees.
Fair smoke dispersion today improves through Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
