.DISCUSSION...
Light southwest winds around 5 mph will persist through the morning,
with the east coast sea breeze developing earlier and moving farther
inland today. This will switch winds to the east to southeast at
the burn site by early afternoon, increasing to 8 to 10 mph.
Scattered showers and storms will develop into the afternoon, with
gusty and variable winds possible in the vicinity of any storms that
develop. Weaker transport winds today will lead to poor dispersion
values.
Hot and humid conditions forecast to continue today, with a high
in the low 90s this afternoon and peak heat index values around
101-103.
