Isolated to scattered lightning storms will continue across the local Atlantic waters, mainly along the Gulf Stream through the night. .RIP CURRENT IMPACT... A moderate risk for dangerous rip currents continues at area beaches tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. Decreased rain and storm chances this weekend will gradually increase into next week, as greater moisture returns to the area. Storms may produce gusty winds, occasional to frequent lightning strikes, and locally heavy rainfall. Hot temperatures continue, especially on Sunday and Monday, when heat indices could approach 102 to 108 degrees or higher. This level of heat can affect anyone without adequate cooling and hydration. Sensitive to near critical fire weather conditions will last through at least the early part of next week, before moisture and rain chances increase into the middle part of the work week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
