At 853 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong shower, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots. This shower was located 30 nm
east of Melbourne Beach, moving west at 20 knots. Additional showers
and isolated lightning storms will continue to move from east to
west across the local waters this evening and overnight. Some will
produce gusty winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and occasional lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes. A special marine
warning may eventually be required when strong showers and isolated
thunderstorms reach the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before this activity arrives.
