Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Scott and Carver Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota, Scott, Carver and Hennepin Counties. Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County. .Recent heavy rainfall combined with the forecast of additional rain and high soil moisture will produce additional rises on area rivers. Thunderstorms are expected later today and another round of significant rainfall is possible at the end of the week. Prolonged flooding is most likely along the main stem rivers with shorter duration flooding along the tributaries. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
