Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .Friday morning`s rainfall has combined with the recent stretch of wet weather to maintain minor flood stage on the Minnesota River at Montevideo. The Flood Warning will continue until further notice as additional rain chances exist early this week. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. It will then fall this afternoon. It will rise to 15.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
