...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL POLK COUNTY THROUGH 800
PM CDT...

At 730 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
St. Croix Falls, or 29 miles east of Cambridge, moving northeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Osceola, St. Croix Falls, Luck, Balsam Lake, Taylors Falls, Centuria,
Milltown, Dresser, and Straight Lake Wilderness State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
east central Minnesota...and northwestern Wisconsin.
