Temperatures will be right around or slightly below normal for most locations today with a warming trend through the weekend into the beginning of next week, and dry conditions. The marine layer will expand inland once again tonight into tomorrow morning, resulting in good RH recovery near the coastline and farther inland. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Warmer and drier conditions will gradually build into the weekend. Expect wind gusts along the coast topping out at 25-35 mph from the northwest along the coast this afternoon. By Saturday low-elevation interior valleys will top out in the 90s for highs temperatures and minimum RH dropping to 15-20 percent for several locations. High elevation recoveries will also gradually worsen though low elevations will keep good recoveries. With the exception of wind gusts along the coast this afternoon, winds will be mostly gentle and terrain driven.
