.DISCUSSION...
Mostly sunny skies with minimal shading are anticipated today.
East/downslope winds will quickly transition to northerly/upslope
flow through the rest of this morning. The inversion will continue
to lift over the next 1-2 hours. With mixing heights around 5000
feet AGL and northerly transport winds just under 15 mph, smoke
dispersion should be excellent. Afternoon RH will fall into the
mid-teens with the marine layer remaining offshore. Tonight,
northerly winds will subside and become downslope by 2000 PDT.
Humidity recovery will be poor with values around 40%. Saturday
high temperatures will be several degrees lower than Friday,
however, a drier airmass is forecast to be in place. Min RHs are
projected to bottom out just above 10%. Smoke dispersion should
remain excellent and shading will be minimal under sunny skies.
