describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front will remain in place across the S
waters today through Wed night. Weak low pressure will form along
the front SE of Hatteras Canyon this afternoon, then lift NE
along the front tonight through Wed night. Weak high pressure
over the Ohio Valley tonight will shift E across the N waters Wed
and Wed night, then move E of the waters on Thu. Another low will
form over the S waters Wed night into Thu, then move slowly NE
Fri into Sat. A cold front will approach the N waters by late
Fri, then move SE across the waters Fri night into Sat night. The
NAVTEX transmitter in Chesapeake, Virginia is offline until
further notice. Technicians are aware of the problem and are
working to have it repaired.
