.SYNOPSIS...A small, well-defined, low pressure area located just
off the Georgia coast early tonight will likely move inland later
tonight, with chances for the system becoming a tropical
depression decreasing. For more information please see details
issued by the National Hurricane Center. Otherwise, high pressure
will persist east of the waters with a ridge extending westward
over most of the waters tonight into Sunday. The ridge will
gradually shift eastward later Sunday and Sunday night as a cold
front approaches the northern Mid-Atlantic coast. The cold front
will move offshore and cross the waters north of the area
Monday, and then clear east of those waters Monday night as the
front crosses the waters just north of the area. The front will
likely stall and weaken from the South Carolina coast eastward
Tuesday and Tuesday night as weak high pressure forms north of
the front. The front will return north as a warm front Wednesday
as the high shifts east and northeast of the area. The next cold
front will approach the coast from the west Wednesday night.
