.SYNOPSIS...Scattered thunderstorms are likely mainly over the
far eastern portions of the waters today, and mariners should
used caution for gusty winds and rough seas in and near the
heavier thunderstorms. More widespread thunderstorms are
expected to move off the Mid-Atlantic coast Mon night. A low
pressure trough across the area will dissipate today while a
high pressure ridge to the S of the waters remains in place
through Mon. The ridge will shift further SE Mon night. A cold
front will move slowly off the coast Mon night and Tue while
weakening. A secondary cold front will reach the coast Tue night
and Wed, and then move SE over the area Wed night through Thu
night while high pressure builds slowly E to the coast.
