Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine is located near
18.1N 82.2W at 2100 UTC, moving N-NW at 6 kt. Maximum sustained
winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt. Minimum central pressure is
1003 mb. Nine is expected to move slowly NW tonight and
gradually become better organized, reaching near 19N 83W tonight
as a Tropical Storm, continue to steadily intensify and reach
near 19.9N 84.2W Tue afternoon, near 23N 86W as a hurricane Wed
afternoon, near 28.9N 84.5W Thu afternoon as a major hurricane,
and then inland Thu night. Nine is expected to become a large
and powerful hurricane. Widespread showers and thunderstorms
will shift into the SE Gulf Tue through Wed as Nine moves
northward into the eastern Gulf.

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. E winds 25 to
30 kt, becoming E to SE 35 to 40 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to
7 ft. Numerous showers and scattered tstms.
.WED...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. E to SE winds 45 to
60 kt. Seas 8 to 13 ft.
.WED NIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. SE winds 70 to
90 kt. Seas 13 to 18 ft.
.THU...HURRICANE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.
.THU NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.
.FRI...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in W to NW swell.
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
.SAT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate N to NE swell will propagate into the
northern waters today, bringing an increase in seas over the
waters N of 25N through mid-week. Potential Tropical Cyclone
Nine is located near 18.1N 82.2W at 2100 UTC, moving N-NW at
6 kt.  Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt.
Minimum  central pressure is 1003 mb. Nine is forecast to move
northward  through the eastern Gulf of Mexico Tue night through
Thu night and become a large and powerful hurricane. This will
bring strong winds and large seas to areas offshore Florida and
N of the Bahamas  during that time. Tropical storm force winds
are expected across portions of central and northeast Florida
coastal waters Thu through early Fri.

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered tstms.
.WED...SE winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 25 to 30 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
.THU...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.
