West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure centered about
180 nm SE of Nantucket will slowly drift E across the outer mid-
Atlantic waters tonight through Sun night, then drift more S and
SE while remaining E of the waters Mon into Tue. The low will
turn more E and clear away from the waters Tue night into Wed. A
high pressure ridge will gradually build S into the northern and
central waters Sun into Mon, then continue building S along the
coast Mon into Tue night. The ridge will expand offshore Wed and
Wed night, then shift NE and weaken Thu and Thu night. Low
pressure will move offshore Thu and Thu night.
