.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure over the far
southern waters will drift towards the W and NW today. The low
will strengthen as it moves NW toward the coast tonight into Tue.
The low will likely acquire subtropical or tropical
characteristics as it tracks NW, and a subtropical or tropical
depression or storm will form by early next week before moving
inland Tue or Tue night. All marine interests should closely
monitor the latest forecast and additional information issued by
the National Hurricane Center over the next day or two.
Otherwise, high pressure will persist N of the area today into
Tue, then slowly weaken and shift more NE Tue night through Wed
night. A weak cold front will drift just offshore over the
northern waters later Wed and Wed night, and then stall across
the northern waters Thu and Thu night.
