beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A high pressure ridge extending W
over the waters from the western Atlantic Ocean will persist into
early Sun, and then shift E of the region. A cold front will
approach the northern Mid-Atlantic and Delmarva coast later Sun
and Sun night. The cold front will move offshore and cross the N
waters Mon, and then clear E of the N waters Mon night as the
front moves into the central waters waters. The front will likely
stall and weaken from the South Carolina coast eastward Tue and
Tue night as weak high pressure forms N of the front. The weak
front will dissipate Wed as the high shifts E of the N waters.
The next cold front will approach the coast from the W and NW
later Wed into Wed night. The cold front will move SE over the N
waters Thu, and the central waters Thu night while weakening.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
