beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure will remain nearly
stationary along the North Carolina coast tonight, then lift N
across the area Wed into Thu. The low will stall over the far N
waters Thu night into Fri, then move slowly SE across the area
Fri night into Sun night. An associated warm front will lift N
across the waters tonight into Wed, and pass N of the area later
Wed. The front will then stall just N of the area Wed night and
Thu, then return slowly S across the waters as a cold front Fri
into Sun night. A high pressure ridge will build W of the region
Fri into Sun night.
