West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure will remain nearly
stationary along the North Carolina coast tonight. A warm front
will lift N across the waters tonight into Wed, and pass N of the
area later Wed. The front will then stall just N of the area Wed
night and Thu as a series of lows develop along the boundary,
before the front returns S across the waters as a cold front Fri
into Sat night. A high pressure ridge will build W of the region
Fri into Sun. A low pressure will drift S across the area on Sun
into Sun night.
