West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...An area of low pressure just off
the New Jersey coast today will drift SE across the N waters
tonight into early Fri. The low will gradually weaken and become
broad Fri and Sat, then lift NE of the N waters by early Sun
morning. Another low pressure area will move to the Carolina
coast Sat night, then move offshore over the central and S waters
Sun and Sun night. The low will persist over the S waters Mon and
Mon night as high pressure builds over the far N waters.
