West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Broad low pressure over the
northern waters, centered about 270 nm SE of Nantucket, will
remain nearly stationary tonight and Sun, and then will move
slowly E away from the area Sun night through Mon night. A
stationary front extending E across the waters from the North
Carolina coast will persist tonight into early Sun. A series of
weak low pressure centers will form and move E along the boundary
tonight through Mon. The front will move slowly S later Sun
through Mon, and will pass S of the area Mon night and Tue while
high pressure builds S into the northern waters. The high
pressure ridge will slowly drift S and then E Tue night through
Thu while weakening. A cold front will approach the northern
Mid-Atlantic coast Thu night.
