Flood Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...

  Platte River Near Ashland affecting Saunders and Sarpy Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO TOMORROW
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Platte River near Ashland.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, The river is at bankfull and overflows
  begin onto farmlands on both sides of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.7 feet...or 2.3 feet
    below flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 20.2 feet this evening. It will
    then fall below flood stage late this evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
