Flood Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...Iowa...

  Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Cass and Mills Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Plattsmouth.

* WHEN...From late Monday night to Monday, July 01.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Fields west of Dock Road flood.
  At 27.0 feet, Minor flooding is occurring in the parking lots near
  the gauge site and boat ramp.
  At 28.5 feet, A campground off of River Road, about 1.5 miles
  downstream of the gauge, begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.7 feet...or 5.3
    feet below flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Tuesday morning to a crest of 30.2 feet early Friday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday, July
    01.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
