This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms will become likely tonight. There is a marginal
risk that a storm or two could become severe in southeast Nebraska
with damaging winds and large hail the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There will be an additional chance of strong and possibly severe
thunderstorms late Saturday afternoon through the evening. Again,
damaging winds and large hail would be the primary hazards.

There will be a daily chance of more thunderstorms across eastern
Nebraska and western Iowa from Sunday night through Thursday.
While it`s too far out to predict with any certainty, a few of
those storms during that time could probably be severe.

Very hot temperatures will also develop Sunday and Monday
afternoons. The heat index each afternoon could reach 98 to 102
degrees, which will also create elevated levels of heat risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will probably not be needed through tonight.
