This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Wednesday

A few stronger storms may impact portions of northeast Nebraska
from 5 AM through noon Wednesday (20 percent chance). Additional
strong to severe storms will be possible late Wednesday afternoon
into the evening, primarily in northeast Nebraska into west-
central Iowa. Large hail, damaging winds, and localized flooding
are the primary threats.

Heat index values are expected to reach 95 to 100 across much of
the area Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday night through Tuesday

Heat index values are expected to exceed 100 across portions of
southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa Thursday. Values could
approach 100 again on Sunday and Monday.

Details remain unclear, but we`ll have daily storm chances
Thursday into next week with potential for strong to severe
storms at times. The highest chances currently look to be
Thursday, primarily in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
