This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Flood warnings have been issued for the Missouri River as recent
very heavy rains over southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa
have produced significant flooding along the Missouri River
tributaries in these areas. Below Gavins Point Dam, rivers levels
will rise above flood stage during the upcoming week, with
moderate flood stage levels predicted from Blair to Rulo.
Additional flooding is occurring along Ponca Creek just south of
the South Dakota border.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible during the overnight hours
with the chance of severe weather remaining low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hot, humid conditions will develop early next week with heat
indices approaching 100 to 110 on Monday and Tuesday.

Isolated thunderstorm development is possible late Monday
afternoon with a chance for severe weather including damaging wind
and hail. Additional strong to severe thunderstorms are expected
Tuesday through Saturday, with additional heavy rainfall also
possible.
