There is a marginal risk that a storm or two could produce locally damaging winds, mainly west of a Norfolk to Lincoln to Falls City line. The strongest storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds. There is also a small chance for a tornado or two to develop. These storms will also produce heavy rain which could lead to flash flooding of multiple storms move over the same locations. Sunday evening and overnight will feature another chance for strong storms, mainly over northeast Nebraska. Almost every day next week features another chance of thunderstorms across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. While the exact timing remains in question, some of these rounds of storms will be capable of producing severe weather and heavy rainfall... and multiple rounds of storms will lead to an increasing flood potential by mid to late week. Very hot temperatures will also develop Sunday and Monday afternoons with highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat index values exceeding 100, leading to elevated risk of heat illness. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
