...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN KNOX COUNTY...
At 907 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Verdigre, or 27
miles south of Tyndall, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 905 PM, golfball-sized hail
was reported in Vergigre.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Verdigre, Niobrara, Center, Winnetoon, Bazile Mills, Niobrara State
Park, and Santee Reservation.
