At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of winds from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Waldron Kansas to near Cherokee to just north of Waynoka. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. Strong winds will occur well before the thunderstorms themselves move in. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
