...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Lincoln,
southeastern Oklahoma, Cleveland, Pottawatomie and McClain Counties
through 415 PM CDT...

At 337 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Midwest City to near Noble to 4 miles
south of Purcell. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Eastern Oklahoma City, Norman, Moore, Midwest City, Shawnee, Del
City, Newcastle, Tecumseh, Purcell, Choctaw, Noble, Harrah,
Slaughterville, McLoud, Spencer, Jones, Nicoma Park, Lexington, Pink,
and Goldsby.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
